Character Stats
Because part of Tann's game play will rely upon your character's physical and mental attributes, Tann has it's own Physical Stats system! Each Species is handled a bit differently, so look for their specific sections to find out how to create your character's stats.
Fawnlings
Fawnlings have five main stats that points may be given to: speed, stamina, strength, wisdom and herbology. Fawnlings have 20 points to be divided between these categories, with a maximum of 8 points allowed per stat.

-
Speed - the ability to move quickly/dodge/avoid or outrun something.
-
Stamina - the ability to outlast others/escape disease/travel long distances.
-
Strength - the ability to use force/overpower others physically/wield heavy weapons
-
Wisdom - the knowledge on any subject (can pertain to their rank) - ie, wisdom of history, can also be general intelligence
-
Dexterity - how adept are they with their hands or at their craft- contains herbology, art, music, crafting, smithing, etc.
That would be outlined as follows:

Speed:
Stamina:
Strength:

Wisdom:
Dexterity:

[ EXAMPLE ]
An example of point distribution:

Speed: 3/8
Stamina: 4/8
Strength: 6/8

Wisdom: 4/8
Dexterity: 3/8

Build Modifiers
Because different builds are present, they allow for a few bonus points on the physical side of things. Keep the modifiers in mind when assigning base points, as you may not exceed 8.

Light builds:
+2 speed modifier

Medium builds:
+2 stamina modifier

Heavy builds:
+2 strength modifier

[ EXAMPLE ]
The above example with a Heavy Build modifier:

Speed: 3/8
Stamina: 4/8
Strength: 6/8 +2

Wisdom: 4/8
Dexterity: 3/8

Rank Modifiers
Because different ranks require different skills, a few modifiers are allowed for those as well. Keep these modifiers in mind when assigning base points, as you may not exceed 8.

Seer:
+3 wisdom modifier
-2 speed modifier (may not exceed 3 speed)

Priest or Priestess:
+1 wisdom modifier
+1 dexterity modifier

Historian:
+2 wisdom modifier

Herbalist:
+2 dexterity modifier

Forest Guard:
+2 physical stat modifier (assign to any physical stat)

Civilian:
+2 any stat modifier (assign to any stat)

[ EXAMPLE ]
Continued example with a Forest Guard rank:

Speed: 3/8
Stamina: 4/8 +2
Strength: 6/8 +2

Wisdom: 4/8
Dexterity: 3/8

As you can see, a character with this skill set would be a formidable physical opponent, with average wisdom and slightly below average dexterity skills- which makes sense because they would be physically-based rather than craft-based. Overall, a decently balanced character!

Overall a character that is adept at sneaking, and would perhaps make a good spy or thief! They're decent with their hands and smart enough to not trip whilst sneaking up on a foe!
